I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. I am passionate about working with racial/ethnic minorities and other oppressed groups. I primarily work with transitional age adults (18-35), couples (including step couples and coparenting couples), and families.
Life is full of unexpected circumstances, and I am here to help you navigate through transitions and different phases of your life. Whether you are moving from home for the first time, contemplating a career shift, having relationship difficulties, experiencing an unplanned event, or other life transitions, I help guide you to a more positive way of thinking, feeling, and behaving to overcome your concerns. Through Cognitive Behavior Therapy, we will discover your belief system and how it impacts your perception of life.
I describe my counseling style as conversational. I want you to feel comfortable voicing your concerns, no matter how difficult, within our counseling relationship. I do not give advice, but rather I help guide you to your own conclusions to empower and promote independence and self-reliance both within and outside of counseling.
My interest is working with racial/ethnic minorities and other oppressed groups. I primarily work with transitional age adults (18-35), couples (including step couples and coparenting couples), and families.
